A biker's words

Just can't get enough of it
The wind racing against my face
Images of trees and buildings
Blurred and in the periphery
The road zipping by under
Whistles as the wind sneaks in
Through the gaps in the helmet
I hate the dust in my eyes
And the innumerable potholes
Even the nasty road humps
Not to forget the jaywalkers
But that's fine and manageable
Cos' a fleeting glimpse of
The birds flying in the sky
Or perched on tree branches
Is too thrilling for words
And I cannot forget for sure
The thrill of the water bullets
As they pelt against the skin
The rains sure do enhance
The joy of long distance biking...

Happiness as I see it!!!

    All of us are intrigued by this word, aren't we? Off late I have come to terms with what one calls happiness. Its  definition?? Well I can't tell u that,'coz it means different things to different people. For me happiness is doing what you feel is correct, happiness is finding good in others, happiness is lazing around, happiness is doing nothing and sleeping all day.. To each his own right?? Whats good for me need not work for others..

 A smile lights up my face every time I look at this pic.. Such an uninhibited smile.. How we all wish we could be like this always. Alas!! it just doesn't workout all the time. Well at the least trying to find something good in what I do every day, brings in a splash of happiness. Looking back at the day before I sleep, I am surely content that I've been happy about at least one thing that has happened. That gives me the hope to look forward to the next day. A new day.. A new beginning right !!!
